Ilya has been active in commercial real estate brokerage since 2006. He leads a top-tier brokerage group that has proudly maintained its position among RE/MAX Commercial’s “Top 25” commercial real estate teams worldwide.
His journey in real estate has been recognized with various accolades, including the RE/MAX Hall of Fame and Lifetime Achievement awards. These recognitions are a testament to Ilya’s commitment to excellence and the value he brings to every client mandate he undertakes. He’s also contributed his insights as a former advisor to the Real Estate Council of Alberta, and as a distinguished speaker both at the Calgary Real Estate Board and at RE/MAX’s international conference.
Ilya’s experience is further enriched by an MBA from England’s prestigious Durham University Business School, providing him with comprehensive market awareness and a nuanced grasp of sophisticated real estate transactions. Additionally, Ilya’s ability to communicate fluently in both English and French enables him to effectively cater to a diverse client base across Canada.
His previous and decade-long career in marketing management, coupled with Ilya’s former service in the Canadian Armed Forces, has instilled in him a unique blend of discipline, strategic thinking, and leadership qualities. These skills, along with Ilya’s commitment to community service through organizations like Shriners International, shape his professional ethos.

Matthew is a veteran sales professional with experience in tax strategy solutions and life insurance policies. Prior to moving on to a career in commercial real estate brokerage in 2015, Matthew worked with a prominent financial education company that has helped thousands of Canadians with tax and investment strategies. During his time with that consulting group, Matthew was consistently one of the top sales representatives in his division. Matthew’s dedication to the team and its clients has already led him to receive the RE/MAX 100% Club Award and the RE/MAX Executive Club Award.
